Amidu Akinyemi

Amidu Akinyemi holds a Bachelor degree in Banking and Finance from the Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Institute of Capital Market Registrars (ICMR) as well as Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaies and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).

He began his accounting career with Rims Securities Limited in 1987 as Head, Accounts & Operations. In 1999, he moved to Chimimex Nigeria Limited as the Deputy Manager, Finance & Accounts. In 2000, he became the Investment Manager of Lighthouse Trustee and later the Group Manager, Finance & Admin of Tripod Holding Limited in 2002.

Amidu joined First Registrars Nigeria Limited in 2004 and has been involved with the successful completion of such Public/Rights Offers as Zenith Bank Plc, Oceanic Bank Plc, Vono Products Plc (2005), Oando Plc (2004),Cornerstone Insurance Plc (2002) and Investment Banking and Trust Company Private Placement (2005).

He is married with children.
